Some 7200 years ago they came in their rafts, and they built huts in which to live. Other peoples brought other knowledge in bronze and iron. Also building Menhirs and Fortified villages. But none equalled the temple builders.

Withness the show and see how it all Started on this Island

A formidable team of actors, dancers, fire jugglers and the use of the latest lighting techniques, along with Malta’s finest horsemen will give you an experience you won’t easily forget.  A spectacle guaranteed to keep adults and children alike guessing what’s next, while an amazing story is being told - The Story of an Island.

As the lights are dimmed, you will travel back in time, and meet the Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs and the Normans who shaped up the islands’ future.  Aided by hi-powered projections you won’t fail to notice the arrival of the Knights of Saint John, the bright Village Festas, Carnival and traditional Maltese feasts.

You will witness the incredible journey of the Maltese, the determination of a whole nation during the Great Siege, the French Blockade and Second World War.  

Attention to detail has been crucial in the set up of this one hour spectacle. Our actors wear researched historical costumes and props, including guns and cannons, accompanied by original music, a masterpiece in it’s own right.
